Award Winning Pawnbroker: on February 8, 2014 Mike Fink received an award from the Portland Police Department for : " Michael Fink owns and operates the Guitar Grave, a pawn/consignment shop located at 441 Congress Street. Over the past year, Mr. Fink has assisted in the recovery of thousands of dollars worth of precious metals, stones, electronics, and other goods that he has identified as stolen. As a matter of routine, Mr. Fink contacts the Police Department immediately upon receiving stolen property. He provides video surveillance of the suspects , and often posts videos to his YouTube website asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects. He does this despite the fact that he may, and often does, suffer a financial loss by assisting the Police Department."

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I owned a vacant storefront and a prospective tenant told me his idea.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are more honest

One location is enough, sometimes too much.
